Kerry O'Brien was a little soft on Kev, I think. Can you imagine him not chasing down the pertinent answers if, just say, Tony Abbott was in the Big Sister Star Chamber.

Just imagine if Margie had been running an abortion referal service! Not that she ever would. I can't imagine a soft interview with Tony, if she had, though.

But that's all right, Kev's on the right side! Doesn't matter what he or his embarrassing relatives do or say!

The news about Julia today is more important, though. Industrial relations. Will it ever go away!

Ms Julia & Co set the hounds on the loose in the hunt for non-union workplace arrangements and now Ms Rein has been trapped too. The latter now wishes - feels 'forced'? - to sell off the Oz part of her business, for which she can truly thank Ms Julia & Co. This unfortunate decision by Ms Rein is really a political decision, not necessarily forced by ethical concerns (which does NOT make her decision unethical either), but the fly on the wall would have had a lot to digest as Mr Rudd & Ms Rein worked through the scenarios this last weekend, over a 'cup of tea in Brissy.' Wonder if Ms Julia will send an explanatory letter to Ms Rein, like she has promised a motel operator??
